How your details are used.

What I collect

What you type into the registration form: whether you're a workshop or a maker, your name, email, town or postcode, and anything you choose to tell me.

Why

To reply to you, to tell you about the BenchConnect pilot, and to see whether a workshop and a maker might suit each other. I rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. Your details are never sold or passed to anyone else without asking you first. A workshop's address is only shared with a maker once the workshop has agreed.

Where it's kept

Form entries are received and stored by Netlify, which hosts this website, and by my email provider. Netlify may store data outside the UK under its own data protection terms.

How long

Until you ask me to delete it, or 12 months after we were last in touch, whichever comes first.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser fetches them from Google, which sees your IP address as part of that request.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent, at any time by emailing info@benchconnect.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how your details are handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
